For his tenth anniversary debut, Park Hae Jin surprised fans with an exclusive live broadcast on Youku, and all the profits from the broadcast went to a welfare center in Shanghai. The welfare center, called 'Baby's Home,' is sponsored by private charities and aims to help sick children without families receive the proper, necessary medical care.

Despite his busy schedule, Park Hae Jin still found the time to do charity work, and last May, he was appointed as the 807th member of an honor society. The actor was also the first celebrity to be conferred an award at a ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for his philanthropy.
A rep from Park Hae Jin's agency stated, "It's Park Hae Jin's wish to give back to all the people who needs help whether it be within or outside the country, as an answer to all the love he's received."
