Thanks to this freshman in college, a grandfather was saved from being kicked out of his home to live on the streets after losing his envelope of money which included cash for rent!
Back on March 23, the Daegu Bukbu Police Station presented Lim Ho Joon with a letter of appreciation for delivering an envelope of 4.95 million KRW (~ 4,000 USD) to a nearby police station after picking it up off the streets.

Back on March 7, he discovered the envelope at the East Gate of Youngjin Community College, which he attends. Right after, he went to turn the money in. Around twenty minutes later, 71-year-old Mr. Park went there after discovering he was missing the envelope.
Mr. Park, of a lower income status, said, "It was money that I had a hard time gathering for my rent, but since I lost it, I found myself in hot water," relaying his gratitude toward the student.
People were understandably moved at hearing such a kind story! Faith in humanity restored!
