On a recent airing of Channel A variety 'I Heard A Rumor', the MCs and panelists dug into the topic of female celebrity sponsors.�
During the discussion, the MCs brought up the question of whether female celebrities and their sponsors develop romantic relationships.�
To answer, reporter Kang Il Hong commented, "It's not that they start off thinking of developing a romantic relationship. But when a wealthy sponsor has interest in a female celebrity, they network and use their connections to ask for an introduction. And then as they meet, they start having romantic feelings. There are instances where a sponsor and a female celebrity start off having meetings where the sponsor gifts the celebrity with money or flight tickets for vacations, and then evolve into lovers."�
