The quick action and teamwork of brave citizens saved the life of an elderly man who nearly died after being run over by a vehicle.
On February 21, KBS News told the tale of brave citizens who rescued an elderly man in his 80's from being crushed to death under a van, rushing to his aid to save him before it was too late.
Through a dash cam that captured the whole incident from start to finish, you see an elderly man that was hobbling across a walk get struck by a van and become trapped under the weight of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle did not dare move for fear that the man will be crushed; passersby who witnessed this horrible accident jumped in to lend their strengths in the man's rescue. The citizens were able to lift the vehicle off the elderly man in the nick of time, and he was transferred to the hospital without any serious injuries.
