Shinhwa's Dongwan has proven to be a sweetie once again.
On December 14, his agency revealed, "Today in the afternoon, Dongwan relayed his donation of 40 million KRW (~ 34,000 USD) to the 'House of Sharing' in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, which is the shelter for the victimized comfort women to the Japanese army.
The grandmothers who were victimized comfort women want the construction of a memorial for the deceased to record their hard work in protecting the dignity and [the fact of] Japan's historical error more than anybody else, so we hope that this would be at least some help to them. This month, grandmother Choi Kab Soon left this world, but we hope that the surviving grandmothers would not spend the winter in sadness."

This is not his first time. He had donated to the 'House of Sharing' back in 2013 and 2014, as well, showing that this was becoming a yearly commitment. He donated 30 million (~ 25,000 USD) both times, so that now he has donated a total of 100 million (~ 85,000 USD)! So sweet of him. May you rest in peace, Ms. Choi.
