A demonstration which progressed this past December 16 by the Korean Council for the Women Drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan has caught the media's attention once again.
On the council's official Facebook page, pictures from the Wednesday demonstration, which marks the organization's 1,209th gathering to seek justice for the 'comfort women,' were uploaded. The demonstration took place in front of the building that used to be Japanese Embassy, and the protesters who took part can be seen holding up signs that read, "We demand an official apology," "Punishment for those responsible," and "Why won't you acknowledge my grandmother's pain and suffering?"
