The piece the two were caught wearing is a frilly and lacy nude-colored one piece. The exact hue of the dress was tricky to determine as it appears to be stuck somewhere between a dark nude and a tan color. It is slightly reminiscent of yellowed, fallen leaves of autumn--or maybe I'm being unnecessarily poetic. In any case, even though the two wore the same dress, they vibe each wearer gives off is noticeably different.
Suzy wore the dress quite plainly without any accessories in sight, save for her unobtrusive hoop earrings concealed behind her hair. For a pop of color, she sported cherry red nail polish, along with pink lipstick and a touch of blush for some much-needed color on her cheeks. The one item that catches your eye right away is Suzy's bold choice of shoes, which is a pair of strappy pumps with a crimson red and black design.
On the other hand, we have the other girl-next-door, IU, who also wore the same dress but styled it slightly different than Suzy. Unlike Suzy, IU tailored the one piece to fit around her frame more tightly rather than let it hang loose which is what Suzy had opted to do. If you look carefully, you will notice that IU cinched the dress around her waist and also around her wrists. IU paired the dress with bright red shoes--the only color in her otherwise plain outfit.
While Suzy and IU look equally gorgeous, I can't say I like how Suzy wore her dress. It doesn't look much flattering on her and those bold shoes fail to match the dress--just...way too much going on. IU managed to pull off the dress better by making it fitted, though I'm not feeling her choice of shoes either. Both of the might have looked better with a pair of knee-high boots or maybe unembellished flats.
