CNBLUE, Yonghwa
CNBLUE's Yonghwa, along with actors Woo Hyun and Kim Sun Young are the faces that greet you on the login page of Twitter Korea. This comes as a pleasant surprise to all the social media users who hadn't expected to see the singer's face smiling back at them, least of all on the very front page of Twitter. The photo in question is of the actor posing with his 'Three Musketeers' co-stars, a welcoming smile on his face.

Apparently, Yonghwa's sudden appearance on our computer screens was not an isolated incident. This specific picture has also appeared in a scene of 'She Was Pretty,' and on various Twitter login pages all over the world. So, to get down to the bottom of Twitter's mass diffusion of Yonghwa's picture, a Ten Asia reporter directly asked the social media service its intention behind the seemingly random usage of the singer's face.

A Twitter rep stated, "The background photos are random. Because Yonghwa was wearing a traditional hanbok and sported a very culturally Korean look, we decided to use the image. There are a lot of K-Pop fans on Twitter and we believed that it is a picture that is a good representation of Korea. It's a picture that hasn't only been used in Korea but also in other countries around the world.

Does Yonghwa show up on the login page in your country?
