'Superstar K8' confirmed to be in planning stage

Mnet�has confirmed that 'Superstar K8' is in the works.

The broadcast company told OSEN,�"It's true we're planning for it, but there's no details confirmed for it yet".

Many had questioned the future of the 'Superstar K' series, as season 7 gathered almost no attention except negative ones. Contestant Shin Ye Young's revelation about the show caused even further controversy, but Mnet has decided to continue on with the audition program.
