With MBC making serious mistakes frequently recently, the Korea Communications Standards Commission has announced that the broadcast station is now under investiagation.
The KCSC told Sports Chosun, "As soon as we confirm that MBC's 'Real Men' using the Japanese military anthem and leaking personal information, and using an 'Ilbe' image on their morning news are true, they'll all be investigated."
'News Today' used a logo of the Jeonnam National University that is not the official mark, but the mark that 'Ilbe' created. On screen, it's obvious that the English on the logo reads 'Hong-Er National University' instead of the 'Jeonnam National University' that it's supposed to be. The 'Hong-Er' is supposed to be referencing the Korean word for skate (hongeo) that is a special delicacy in Jeonnam.
The KSCS said, "The 'Ilbe' logo accident happened multiple times, so we will be taking rapid action."
