November 11 (11-11) is commonly recognized in Korea as 'Pepero Day,' a day on which couples typically exchange boxes of Pepero to celebrate their love.
One officer worker in particular was also presented with a Pepero on this day; however, he didn't receive the gift from his significant other. He actually received one from a stranger on the subway, who relayed her thanks with this small token of gratitude.

A story posted on an online community titled 'I got Pepero on the subway' told the story of 'A', who graciously yielded his seat to a pregnant woman. It may have been a small act of kindness, but the woman must have been touched all the same because she gifted 'A' with a box of Pepero!
As the saying goes, a small act of kindness can go a long way, and 'A' story proves just so!
