This past September 11, a Facebook user identified merely as 'A' uploaded a video with the caption, "Benz S63 AMG purchased five months ago at Gwangju Shin Sung Motors without any discounts."
In said video, 'A' is seen mercilessly smashing his Benz with a golf club right outside Shin Sung Motors, the dealer from which he purchased the vehicle. As astounded bystanders look on at this outrageous spectacle, the man continues to demolish the sedan until it's nothing but a pathetic-looking metal shell with gaping holes and cracked windows.
At this point, the obvious question has burgeoned in everyone's minds: What caused 'A' to go into such a rage and turn a near $200,000 car into bits and pieces of worthless metal?
'A' explained, "The car's engine kept turning off so I took it to the shop a total of three times. They promised me if the engine turned off again they would give me another car. Instead of exchanging the vehicle or giving me a refund, [the dealer] treated me as if I was crazy. So I got angry and smashed the vehicle."
The last straw was when the car suddenly stopped in the middle of the road while 'A's six-month pregnant wife and 5-year old son were riding in it. 'A,' furious that his family's lives were endangered, had exploded in such a manner, reasoning, "Instead of riding the car by putting my family's lives on the line, it's better to smash it."
Fortunately, 'A's wife and son were okay, as he was able to turn the engine back on, despite the immense shock they received from their car suddenly stopping in the middle of the road where other cars were speeding past.
'A' is currently seeking to right to what he believes is wrong, asking for people to spread the injustice of his situation far and wide. Unfortunately for 'A' the car is said to be a lease and is technically the property of the dealership. Because of the intentional destruction of the car, his insurance will not pay for the repair damages and he is stuck with the bill. 'A' was also arrested by the police for disturbing the workplace of Shin Sung Motors and destruction of property.
