10) IU - "Friday"
While there is no song of IU's that I do not love, "Friday" is definitely my favorite song of hers. Her lovely voice goes absolutely perfectly with the guitar, plus the music video really shows just how much IU has matured as a person and artist since her debut.
9) B.A.P - "1004"
It's a really hard tie between "1004" and "Warrior," but I have to go with this one just because I've always been a sucker for the whole "1004 = Angel" thing ("1004" is pronounced "chunsa" in Korean, the same word for "angel"). That being said, B.A.P is definitely one group that I can never have enough of.
8) Yoon Mi Rae & Tiger JK & Bizzy (MFBTY) - Angel
I will forever respect and admire Yoon Mi Rae's strength that led to her success. That being said, I love how this song truly highlights the loving and supportive relationship between her and her husband, Tiger JK. The two have been through so much together and are an inspirational power couple. Just look at the amazing music they create together!
7) Seo Young Eun - "Can't Let Go"
There's really nothing I don't like about this ballad. Seo Young Eun's mellow voice goes amazingly with the delicately sorrowful melody, creating the perfect ballad for all.
6) 2NE1 - "I AM THE BEST"
This song is the only song I've put down as my alarm and haven't grown to hate. It creates the perfect start to my day, since the first thing I'm reminded of every morning is that I am the best (narcissism ftw).
5) Eunji and Seo In Guk - "All For You"
I actually remember listening to the original version by Cool when I was a kid. However, I have to go with this version just because of the immense love and affection I have for everything related to 'Reply 1997'. Plus I really love how Eunji's and Seo In Guk's voices complement each other so nicely!
4) TVXQ - "Love In The Ice"
I'm gonna be real with you here, I remember crying the day I found out that my favorite group would be changed forever. While there's no song of theirs I hate, this song, and this particular performance, will forever continue to enchant me as they truly showed their full vocal talents with masterful emotional tugs at our heartstrings.
3) Big Bang - "Day By Day"
Who doesn't remember playing this song nonstop when it first came out? I also remember learning the whole thing on the piano and playing it constantly, much to the chagrin of my family. The music video also never fails to bring a tear to my eye, making it a worthy watch for newer fans of Big Bang.
2) Kim Bum Soo - "I Miss You"
'Stairway to Heaven' was my first ever Korean drama, so this song will forever hold a special place in my heart. I think it's also fairly safe to say that every Korean dude has attempted this song at karaoke at least once. Although this song is rightfully appreciated by every karaoke singer, no one can truly match up to Kim Bum Soo's perfectly clear voice and mastery of your feels.
1) BoA - "Everlasting"
My love and admiration for BoA is notorious amongst my friends and family, so it only makes sense that she made No. 1 on my list (pun intended). I love the darker, wistful tone of this song that almost haunts the listener even after it ends. While I do love all of BoA's work, this one is definitely the one that stands out for me.
So that's it for my top 10 picks! What did you think of my music choices?
