Rookie girl group G-Friend is getting a lot of love for the interesting juxtaposition of their sweet, girly image and powerful, clean-cut dance moves! In an interview recently, the girls discussed a variety of topics, including their choreography and MV.
Sowon said, "I think working hard to practice before debut helped with our 'knife-like' group dance. Before debut, we would dance to five songs in a row, and the last one, we would practice our live [singing]. Our company would make us do not one but three sets of those a day, so I remember that from morning to night, without sleep, we would be out doing that."
As for the fun MV the girls filmed for "Me Gustas Tu," Sowon stated that it was enjoyable filming every scene because it felt as if they had gone out to play rather than work. However, Yuju said that the scary story telling scene was a bit hard, explaining, "I really hate bugs, but there about three to four inside the blanket. There were even ants stuck to my legs."

Moving on, she revealed she has a lot of interest in composing and writing lyrics, which she had tried before entering the company and continues to do now. We look forward to hearing some of your original works! On top of that, all the members have interest in acting.
Recently, a report came out that their dorm was in a basement with no windows, so the girls were asked what they wanted to change with more profit. Most answers include changing a car and dorm, but Yuju surprisingly stated, "The dorm right now is okay. We wish that the piano, vocal practice room, and speaker performance would improve."
The girls are so hard-working and ambitious about music! They even revealed they've gone over one year now without cell phones. Are you a fan of G-Friend yet?
