In a recent interview with media outlet�Newsen, Park Seo Joon�candidly articulated his feelings on insensitive, and at times, hurtful rumors.�
He added, "These days I'm getting used to [the rumors]. Though I didn't want to get used to them it just naturally happened. If I can say one thing with conviction, it's that not everything is as you see it. Sometimes falsities are presented as truths...�There are those that think I've changed after I rose to fame, so I ask the people close to me without any hesitations, 'If you think that's the case then tell me without sparing my feelings.' Then they tell me, 'What do you mean you've changed. You're the same. You were always honest from the start.'"�
When asked whether he hasn't changed at all and improved since his debut, the actor replied, "I didn't start my acting career to be popular and earn money. That is my honest intention. It's rewarding to continue showing fans my best performances and I think that's where I should stop. Fortunately there are more opportunities than before. It was incredibly difficult to get some work in the past but now I'm able to find work with more ease."
