2PM's Jun.K has filed a lawsuit for defamation of character against the netizen who wrote malicious comments involving his late father.
JYP Entertainment stated, "On May 29, 2015, we filed a lawsuit for the years of criticism of appearance, sexual insults, and defamation of family that have targeted our artists, the 2PM members." The agency also shared a particular case of defamation of character against Jun.K and his family.
JYPE added, "The victim is Jun.K, who was mourning his father's death at the time. Malicious comments were posted that said, 'Congratulations ^^ Congratulations on your father's death ^^ Congratulations on getting your condolence money,' making serious insults and defaming the character of Jun.K and his family."
The netizen in question also allegedly posted photos of skulls and ashes, calling them the remains of Jun.K's father.
