As it was previously reported, Kangin, along with 10cm's Kwon Jung Yeol, are under investigation for failing to attend reserve forces training. The agencies of both explained that the stars did not intentionally miss out on the training sessions, but rather had been unable to make it due to various schedules. They promised that the stars will be making up for their missed sessions by attending an upcoming one and that they'll never let something like this happen again.
When asked about whether Kangin will be leaving the show due to this matter, the producers of 'Real Men' responded, "We have not yet decided whether he'll be stepping down from the program."
"We have not been able to meet and discuss this matter with all of the production staff yet, so we cannot give you any comments regarding this situation at the moment."
They also added that if we don't see Kangin on upcoming episodes, it does not necessarily mean he has left the show because "season 2 cast do not appear on the show every week so even if he's not on the episode, it can't be concluded that he's left."
Different from season 1, the cast members rotate for season 2 depending on their schedules and who can make it to which filming. It's said Kangin has not participated in the recent filming that was held.
