One fan in particular has been causing some divided responses with a post she made on her Instagram page. She posted the image you see below as proof, claiming that Tao had replied to her direct message, telling her that he won't leave EXO.
Many initially let out a sigh of relief over the matter, and started to spread the image to reassure other fans. This caught the attention of Korean reporters, who began to write articles saying that Tao himself has addressed the issue.
However, others quickly pointed out the image had been photoshopped. They reasoned that Tao is very unlikely to pick one fan to respond to out of the masses, and especially one who had written to him in English. They also said that the image had traces of evidence that it had been edited, especially with the odd amount of spacing between the Tao's Instagram name and his alleged reply.
