During the production presentation for Mnet's upcoming show 'SIXTEEN', J.Y. Park revealed the name of the upcoming girl group to be Twice!
The name refers to the their goals of impressing you with what you hear, and then impressing you again with what you see.
J.Y. Park said, "The girl group will have a natural and friendly feel to them. The group will show different colors from Wonder Girls and miss A, and show a new upgraded version of themselves. They will be a girl group that has a more edgy and wild image with overflowing charisma."

As previously reported, there are a total of 16 competitors on the show, with seven competitors who are candidates for Twice, and the remaining nine who will try to take their spots.
The first episode airs on May 5 at 11pm KST on Mnet for a total of 10 episodes. Are you excited? We know we are!
