Chart-topping J.Y. Park and charismatic rapper Jessi recently filmed for KBS' 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook', where they talked about their latest song "Who's Your Mama?"
During the recording, J.Y. Park was asked why he thought his song was so popular, and he modestly replied, "I didn't know what the public would think. I didn't think about the result and just devoted myself to the production of the song."
MC Yoo Hee Yeol joked, "You didn't have the JYP narration (whisper) in your song. That's why it's doing so well," drawing much laughter.
J.Y. Park said, "Before my album was released, Suzy asked to hear the song and recommended I work with Jessi. I should listen to what Suzy says. It's even been said that we should change the agency name from JYP to SJ (SuJi aka Suzy)," lightheartedly joking about how much Suzy's popularity outweighs his.
When asked about promoting around the same time as his company's group miss A, J.Y. Park wittily replied, "It's actually better to have a comeback when the agency's group is doing well. When a group in the agency is doing poorly and you have your comeback, people ask 'do you really think you should be promoting right now?'"
