A former 'NLT' boyband member, Thorne is currently promoting as a solo artist signed to Johnny Wright, who is known for managing huge international superstars such as Nsync, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears.
Thorne became interested in K-Pop when Wonder Girls promoted "Like Money" in the United States. Thorne said, "I love the musicality, creativity and great artistry that most Kpop artists have." Thorne's other favorites include Big Bang and G-Dragon's solo albums.
As Thorne began working on his solo music, he had the idea of in doing a K-Pop infused remix. "I've always felt there was a similarity in my music and Kpop and after meeting Yubin, I thought she would be perfect to collaborate with in the future. Of course, it was a pipe dream. I didn't actually expect her to say yes, as she's basically like K-Pop royalty."
Thorne will be unveiling the full version of "The Heartbroken" K-Pop remix feat. Yubin on February 16. In the meantime, you can check out a snippet of the song below.
