When asked how she changed during the 8 years since her debut, she shared, "In the past, a big part of me wanted to do well no matter what and gain popularity, but now rather than popularity, I want to be acknowledged [as an artist]."

HA:TFELT also chose J.Y. Park as the celebrity she's close to, explaining, "JYP? He is special to me [laughs]. A lot of people say that J.Y. Park and I are a lot alike including the way we talk and make mistakes. Sometimes I even surprise myself. We formed a sense of kinship, and if I have good music, he listens to it and gives advice... If we have trouble, we come to an understanding by talking it out. Even though we can't always understand each other's decisions, we understand each other's hearts [laughs]. He's like a parent and family to me."

She chose fellow singer Younha as well, sharing, "Younha and I both debuted in 2007. The only person who I consistently keep in touch with is Younha. Since Younha is a solo artist, there are a lot of things she has to deal with on her own, so she is the type to give me a lot of advice."
