After defeating Japan 12-3 in the International Final, South Korea has defeated Chicago (the US Champion) with a score of 8 to 4, winning the Little League World Series!
This is South Korea's third overall Little League World Series title as they had previously won back in 1984 and 1985.
The team from Seoul was very impressive in the tournament as they outscored their 5 opponents 42-17, a run differential of 25. South Korea is now a perfect 11-0 in LLWS and have never lost a game.
