EXO was already chosen to represent South Korea at the '2013 MTV EMA' by winning 'Best Korean Act.' However, there is more news to prove their immense global popularity.

They were competing against Japan's Momoiro Clover Z to represent the region of Japan and Korea for the title of 'Worldwide Act' as only one artist per region could be nominated. However, in the end, EXO made the final Top Ten list of nominees for this title! They will be competing against other popular, international sensations, such as Cody Simpson, Justin Bieber, and One Direction.
Big Bang won this award in 2011, and former Super Junior member Hangeng won the award last year in 2012.
