MBC slashed rumors of a possible cancellation of 'Knee Drop Guru' following its announcement that the pilot episode of variety show 'Story Show Widow's Cruse' will air during 'Knee Drop Guru's time slot.

According to MBC, the pilot episode of 'Story Show Widow's Cruse' will air during 'Knee Drop Guru's usual time slot at 11:20 PM KST on August 1.
An MBC representative revealed that this is only temporary and responded,"Just because the pilot episode will air in its time slot does not mean that 'Knee Drop Guru' will be cancelled... We want to test the potential of 'slapstick comedy' so we decided to air 'Story Show Widow's Cruse' on a weekday night...Only the pilot episode of 'Story Show Widow's Cruse' will air. 'Knee Drop Guru' will resume its regular time slot the following week on August 8."
'Story Show Widow's Cruse' will be hosted by MCs Jung Jun Ha and Seo Kyung Suk.
