A representative from the show stated, "There's an active search to fill Leeteuk's vacant spot. We're thinking of idol members with various charms that also have variety skills." They will be going ahead with the 'variety intern' strategy, letting various idols film for the spot and choosing out those who have good feedback from the staff and public.

The representative continued, "There are 30 to 40 idols who are actively trying out for the spot. We haven't filmed anything yet, but there will be something set up where they can battle for Leeteuk's vacant spot, and that will also be aired on the show."
