Idol group Big Bang will not be performing their soon-to-be-released special edition album in Korea.
Big Bang will be unveiling 5 new songs with their special edition album 'Still Alive' on June 3rd, but fans will unfortunately be unable to see them perform these songs in Korea.
YG Entertainment informed OSEN on May 29th, "Big Bang will be releasing a new album on the third of next month, however, it has been decided that none of the songs will be performed on any of the Korean stages. Due to their World Tour, they have concerts in Japan until the 24th of next month, and it is a situation where we just cannot make any time."
"This new 'Still Alive' album is a way to thank the fans for their explosive response to their fifth mini-album," they continued. "We are so grateful that the still cuts and teaser images for their title song "Monster" is receiving much interest and support."
"Monster" is rumored to be a song that's much more fierce and powerful than any other Big Bang song released to date. It has also been reported that the quality of the MV is on par with a Hollywood Blockbuster.
In related news, Big Bang is currently touring Japan, and will have traveled to 25 cities in 16 different countries by the time their World Tour comes to an end.
