Singer Seo In Kook has encountered some obstacles against his comeback in the form of appearance rejections from a few public broadcast programs. On March 31st, he tweeted, "I don't drink and drive, nor do I do drugs. So why can I not perform on music programs as I wish? I would like to express my infinite gratitude towards Mnet and KBS for permitting me to perform on their shows. I will be giving everything I have." This new tweet from Seo In Kook caused many to interpret that his situation is the result of network bias. The competition between cable and public broadcast networks remain bitter, and relations are icy at best. Consequently, industry representatives are buzzing about how Seo's status as a former "Superstar K" participant (in other words, an Mnet star), is apparently causing public networks to turn him down. It's not a unique problem for Seo In Kook, as he's been battling these issues since his debut. Although he was able to win #1 on "M! Countdown" in the past, and ranked at the top numerous times on music charts, he hasn't fared so well on KBS and SBS, and has never performed on MBC. Although he aimed for a fresh start with his comeback, it seems that Seo In Kook hasn't quite shaken off the shackles from his previous round of promotions. In any case, he aims to deliver a phenomenal comeback stage through "M1 Countdown" on March 31st. Source: TV Report via Nate
