Having failed to rule Silla in her last drama, "Queen Seon Duk", actress Ko Hyun Jung will finally fulfil her wish by becoming the president of Korea in her upcoming drama "Dae Mul" in the modern era. On September 29th, Seoul Lotte Hotel premiere of "Dae Mul", Ko revealed her opinions on returning from her hiatus. To a reporters question, "Do you miss the delicate and pure characters you played?", she replied, "Playing a character that suits my age (40) is more prudent." She continued, "I still have the delicate persona around me, but I don't miss those roles. I have had my share of it in my youth. I picked [Seo Hye Lim] because its a character I can enjoy at my age." "I'm slowly becoming the senior of this generation. I can't always act innocent and pure... so in order to truly serve my fans, I decided to take on an image change", showing how much she matured these years. "In fact, I'm annoyed at playing that innocent role on air when it's just a facade... I'm only letting the years catch up to me." Ko Hyun Jung will play the role of Seo Hye Lim, an announcer who becomes Korea's first female president. Kwon Sang Woo will played the role of Ha Do Ya, an investigator who draws his motivation from the cruel treatment his father received from upper management. The cast also includes the star-power list of Cha In Pyo, Lee Su Kyung, Lee Soon Jae, Park Geun Hyung, and Lim Hyun Sik. "Dae Mul" will air after the finale of "My Girlfriend is a Nine-tailed Fox" from October 6th.
