Kara's Seungyeon talks about her fall on Music Core

It was my first big mistake in a live broadcasting. For a moment, I thought we were performing in a recorded broadcasting so I almost thought, 'Let's start from the beginning again.' I continued performing as if nothing happened, but I felt dizzy--to the point that my hands and feet were shaking.

Although Seungyeon took a nasty fall on stage, she was not only able to finish the performance, but bounced back up with a strong finish.

After the performance, I cried a lot. More than the embarrassment of my fall, my pride was damaged from being the only one to make a mistake in front of many colleagues. I was also very sorry towards the other Kara members who worked hard to prepare [the performance].

Lightening the mood, fellow member Goo Hara consoled, "It's okay. Kara rose up the most searched terms that day." Indeed the incident was a misfortune, but Seungyeon's sacrifice appears to have not gone to waste. Just as Goo Hara mentioned, Kara became one of the most searched terms on various online portal sites that day, giving the girl group a free promotion. Not only have they been delivering each performance stronger than ever, they have won multiple awards for their comeback song as well. Besides, as a wise 17-year-old teen pop star once said, "Everybody makes mistakes. Everybody has those days. Everybody �knows what, what, I'm talking about. Everybody gets that way."
