F(x) - SM's new quintet group, has leaped into the girl group battle and proved themselves to be a worthy contender. Among the 5 beautiful and charismatic members is a familiar face. In the 2005 "Beautiful Child Contest," f(x) member Sulli obtained the "King Ribbon Child Award" at the age of 11. That same year, Sulli appeared on the drama "Ballad of Seodong," portraying the child version of Princess SunHwa, played by Lee Bo Young. PD Lee Byung Hoon searched far and wide for a child to fill this role, and despite many child actors auditioning, Lee confidently chose Sulli - claiming her acting skills and beauty were top-notch. After appearing on "Ballad of Seodong," Sulli went on to appear on "Drama City - The Flower Girl Is Here" in 2006 and the movie "Fool" in 2008. Just 4 years after placing in the "Beautiful Child Contest," Sulli, 15, has officially debuted as a singer through the group f(x). Many of her older fans are surprised that the little Sulli they had seen in dramas and movies has grown up so quickly. In addition, Sulli is getting lots of recognition due to the fact that Big Bang's G-Dragon has named Sulli as his ideal girl.
