Olympic shooter Kim Ye Ji is set to make her debut as an actress in the upcoming 'Crush' short-form series.
According to Kim Ye Ji's label on September 13, the '2024 Paris Olympic' silver medalist is taking on a new challenge as she steps into the role of a killer in an upcoming film. She's been cast alongside Indian global star Anushka Sen in the spin-off short form series 'Crush', which is based on the movie 'Asia'.
'Asia' features a diverse cast from more than 7 countries across the US and Asia and tackles themes of racial hatred and discrimination. The upcoming film's director Lee Jeong Seob commented, "The joint casting of Anushka Sen and Kim Ye Ji will mark an innovation in global short-form series and open a new chapter."
Kim Ye Ji is known for winning a silver medal in the 10m air pistol finals at the '2024 Paris Olympics'. Additionally, a video of her performance in the 25m pistol event at the 'ISSF World Cup' in Baku, Azerbaijan this past May also gained attention on social media.
