Lee Seung-hoon, a member of the group WINNER, has released his first solo mini album, 'My Type,' to mark the group's 10th anniversary.
In the lead-up to the album release, Lee Seung-hoon shared a behind-the-scenes video detailing the production process. He explained that the project began with the question, "How can I best capture who I am in one album?" He presented his ideas in a presentation format, showcasing his thoughtful approach.
Lee Seung-hoon expressed his desire to shed the manufactured image that has surrounded him and reveal his true self. "I wanted to strip away the processed image and show the real core inside me," he said. "The album was born out of a simple desire to create good music."
Not only did Lee Seung-hoon produce every track on the album, but he was also involved in planning, editing, styling, and recruitment. The album design itself was his brainchild.
The album features the title track 'MY TYPE' along with songs like 'Thinkin’ Bad Things,' 'Do Re Mi Fa Sol,' and 'BROTHER & SISTER.'
Lee Seung-hoon described the album as a collection of honest lyrics and melodies that he felt most comfortable with. "This album encapsulates all the moments of my life so far. I am deeply grateful to the fans and everyone who has supported me along the way," he said.
