Actor Yeo Jin Goo received a sweet handwritten letter from IU.

On July 2, YouTube channel B-Siders revealed a special for Yeo Jin Goo, and his previous co-stars sent in letters to express their thoughts on the talented actor. IU, who worked with him in the 2019 hit drama 'Hotel Del Luna', also sent in a handwritten letter.

IU wrote, "As a dongseng, Jin Goo is always refreshing like a green leaf, but as an actor, he is like the deep roots of a great tree. You may not see how deep and strong those roots are from the outside, but anyone who has supported you even briefly would know how firmly you have held your place."

She continued, "To those who seek you, you always provide a comforting shade and pleasant rustling leaf sounds. But even a tree needs shade sometimes. During those times, I hope you lean on friends who owe you, including me. I worry about you sometimes because you're so self-reliant. As your noona who hasn’t done much for you, I'm sorry and grateful. You made me smile with your compliments on my low-confidence days and pretended to make an NG to cover mine. Thank you for teaching me how strong and cool kindness can be. Thank you for the time acting together, the conversations behind the scenes, and the times we played and chatted outside the work. I look forward to and support all the warmth, coolness, uniqueness, ordinariness, brightness, shadow, cuteness, earnestness, quietness, and handsomeness that actor Yeo Jin Goo brings."

Obviously touched, Yeo Jin Goo tried to respond to IU's sweet letter, saying, "I don’t have the writing skills to reciprocate noona's words. Thinking of Ji Eun noona, I wonder where the end of her charm lies. She has so much talent and so many colors. Although she expressed her gratitude to me, I am also very grateful to her and want to learn a lot from her care for others."
