Lee Hyori reflects on her experience of traveling with her mother for the first time, as the trailer of her upcoming JTBC travel variety show “Mom, Will You Go on a Trip With Me? (literal translation)” is unveiled.

As a kid with busy parents, Lee Hyori has never had the chance to travel with her parents. She rose to fame upon debut at the age of 19, and was consistently caught up in a busy schedule. Recently, she also has to take care of her ailing father. As such, she has never had the chance for a mother-daughter trip even within Korea.

She expresses her excitement in her IG post, “My first trip with my mother. Even through the teaser, you can tell how our bond grew stronger by the day.”

While she has done travel variety shows such as ‘Hyori’s Homestay’ and ‘Camping Club’, this will be the first time as a daughter instead of a celebrity. Helmed by PD Park Sung Hwan, whom she has worked with for the aforementioned shows, “Mom, Will You Go on a Trip With Me? (literal translation)” will premier on May 26, Sunday, 9:10 p.m. KST.
