On September 6, singer and actress Kim Se Jeong appeared on KBS2's 'Problem Child in House'.

During this episode, Kim Se Jeong confessed that she actually did not want to go on Mnet's 'Produce 101', the program that boosted her to immense fame. 

She recalled, "The PD-nim came to our company to choose which trainees would go on the show. But I actually had no intention of going on the show." 

Kim Se Jeong explained, "At the time, I was already a part of a 'debut team'. It was me and the members who later became Gugudan. So in my mind, I thought that our team would be disrupted if we went on the show. We all got together, the trainees, and had a meeting about it too."

She continued, "The PD-nim also held one-on-one interviews with us. The last question he asked was, 'Do you want to go on the show?'. I told him, 'I trust the members of my current team, so I don't need to go on the show'. Later on, the PD-nim told me that he did not have a good impression of me because of that answer. He said that my answer was the reason he was determined to have me on the show."

Finally, Kim Se Jeong revealed, "It turned out, I was the only trainee from the company to say that I didn't want to do the show, so I was scolded for it."
