In a rare occurrence, actor Kang Dong Won greeted viewers as a guest on the YouTube comedy show, 'Psick University'!
On this day, the actor casually chatted with the hosts of 'Psick University' in English, sharing rare and down-to-earth details about himself. For instance, the hosts asked Kang Dong Won to share his "YouTube algorithms" with them, and they noted that the actor's YouTube suggestions were full of news videos, content about golf, health, as well as 'Psick University' episodes and 'You Quiz on the Block' clips.
Next, Kang Dong Won was administered an "ahjae" test to determine if he was, in fact, an "ahjusshi". (Kang Dong Won is 42-years old).
The poor actor fell apart with the first question, "Have you ever tried tanghulu?", as the only response he could give was, "What? Is that food?".
After trying tanghulu for the first time, Kang Dong Won remarked, "It tastes like dalgona, plus fruit." Next, the actor was asked, "Do you know any trendy slang?", to which he answered after some thought, "King-bat-nae?". However, the hosts felt that this answer ought to be disqualified, as Kang Dong Won said the phrase in too much of an "ahjae"-like manner.
Ultimately, the actor also did not know the popularity of phrases like, "Are you T?", and only guessed one question on the "ahjae" test correctly, the question asking, "How long do Instagram stories last?".
