Sunye of Wonder Girls fame revealed she gave birth at home.
On the March 18th episode of 'Knowing Brothers', Sunye expressed, "I married a Canadian and had a honeymoon baby. It was a lot of work because I gave birth to a baby as soon as we got married. There's no postpartum care in Canada. Instead, I got help because the midwife and midwife system is good. As long as the mother is healthy, she can give birth safely at home."
She continued, "The baby was going to have his first stool, and he was filled with black stool. It made me wonder how so much stool came out of a small body. Midwife explained that what was eaten in the womb was discharged all at once."
Sunye concluded, "If I was in a postpartum care center, that sort of thing is passed by without knowing, but it was a special and precious experience for me."

It's a bit unfair to say there's 'no' post partum care, then praise that the midwives teach you more about the early days of your babies life than they do in SK post partum facilities.
