Highlight's Dongwoon has made his solo comeback!

On June 6 KST, Around Us Entertainment celebrated Dongwoon's 31st birthday with the release of his fittingly titled 2nd solo mini album 'Happy Birthday.' 

Title track "Today's Weather" taps into the sunny and carefree mood of summer. Dongwoon recently told the press that the song was made to make listeners feel good now that the social distancing situation is gradually improving.

The music video was shot on location in Los Angeles. While in California for the shoot, Dongwoon shared that he actually ran into a Korean Highlight fan that was recently married and visiting Los Angeles on her honeymoon. She even had her third-generation Highlight fan membership. "It was an unexpected meeting in such an unexpected place, but I really, really enjoyed it and was so grateful," Dongwoon commented.

Meanwhile, Dongwoon self-composed all five tracks on 'Happy Birthday' –  including "Today's Weather," "Rainy Season," fan song "Letter," "Moderato," and "Happy Birthday to Me."
