Super Junior's Ryeowook appeared as a guest on the May 6 broadcast of KBS2's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook', introducing viewers to his solo comeback mini album, 'A Wild Rose'!
On this day, Ryeowook greeted viewers first with a moving cover of Toy's "Is It Still Beautiful", wowing the audience with his practiced vocals. Next, Ryeowook talked about his return as a solo artist with his 3rd mini album. He said, "I focused a lot on the vocals. I am the main vocal of Super Junior, and I wanted to release an album that would make Super Junior proud. I am so happy every time someone tells me I am good at singing."
Next, Ryeowook demonstrated his own, unique way of contributing to Super Junior's songs with his high notes. He revealed, "I tend to sing like I am angry. When I sing like I'm angry, the notes come out well," and sang snippets of his high note parts from Super Junior's "House Party" and "Mamacita".
Finally, Ryeowook also showcased an alluring(?) performance of his b-side track "Bluebird", then wrapped up with a stunning live performance of his solo mini album title track, "Hiding Words". Check out clips from Ryeowook's guest appearance on this week's 'Sketchbook', above and below!
I like suju music, but dont like the sound of ryeowook's voice when he sings. I know he has good vocal technique, he is one of the best vocals in super junior. he is a talented artist. but don't like his voice.
