JTBC's upcoming new Sat-Sun drama series 'My Liberation Diary' will bring viewers warmth, laughter, sorrow, and stories of family from a home situated deep in the rural countryside.
Starring Lee Min Ki, Kim Ji Won, Lee Elle, Son Suk Goo, and more, 'My Liberation Diary' tells the story of three grown-up siblings, who wish for nothing more than to escape their mundane lives surrounded by fields and mountains, and discover life somewhere bigger.
First, actress Lee Elle plays the oldest sibling, Yeom Ki Jung. Viewers can look forward to the talented actress portraying the spitting image of a real-life, older sister who can't go a day without bickering with at least one of her younger siblings.
Actor Lee Min Ki takes on the second sibling, Yeom Chang Hee, the family's resident troublemaker. He may complain a lot, but he has a plan for his life. In the drama's first teaser above, Yeom Chang Hee can be seen complaining to his father about the fact that he doesn't have a car, which he believes is the reason why he doesn't have a girlfriend.
Actress Kim Ji Won will be greeting viewers as the youngest sibling, Yeom Mi Jung. Ever since she was born, she was known as the quiet child, silently watching her older siblings bicker and fight. One day, Yeom Mi Jung decides that she should start a 'Liberation Diary' to fill the empty void in her life.
Finally, actor Son Suk Goo joins the cast as a mysterious stranger, Mr. Goo. No one knows where he's from, but he lives with the Yeom family while helping out with their father's work.
JTBC's 'My Liberation Diary' is coming this spring on April 9, beginning at 10:30 PM KST. Do you find the premise of the drama interesting so far?
I can't understand a drama like this on a Saturday and Sunday, this drama would be perfect on a Monday and Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday have to be more "charismatic" dramas like Vincezo, Itaewon Class, The World Married, Lost is a good example of how this kind of drama is not yielding on saturday and sunday, but I will DEFINITELY watch it Hahaha
