G-Dragon's decision to live in his luxury penthouse was revealed.
The November 12 broadcast of KBS's 'Entertainment Live' featured several million dollar dream homes of celebrities in their episode themed, 'The choices of the top 1%, the world that they live in!'. Here, G-Dragon was mentioned, along with his 9 billion won (~$7,627,474 USD) penthouse. G-Dragon's penthouse, well-known among not only people in Korea but also frequently mentioned in overseas media, consists of nine buildings. There are luxury, high-end community faciltiies offered to only residents, including breakfast services, fitness centers, basketball courts, swimming pools, golf practice ranges, and dishes cooked by famous hotel chefs. The penthouse where G-Dragon lives in is known to cost around 9 billion won, and just the maintenance fee adds up to around 1 million won (~$847 USD) per month.
In particular, the reason why G-Dragon chose to live in such a luxury, high security location drew attention. In his penthouse, there is a private elevator and parking lot used solely by him, which offers him heavy privacy protection. In a past broadcast, G-Dragon once opened up about the struggles of being a top celebrity and stated, "When I was young, I didn't even like eating out with my family. I just always felt like people were staring at me, for no reason." With this in mind, G-Dragon seems to have found a home that prioritized his privacy and gives him personal space.

Good for him, there are a lot of crazy fans that are sherlock freaking holmes, and can find out their phone number, address, parents home address and break into their freaking dorms -___- nice to have that secure privacy where a cell camera isn't recording him every day while he can just enjoy doing things in his daily life, without feeling uncomfortble. Hell of alot money to pay but, dude is so rich and I'm sure has so many royalties alone just from producing/writing music for BigBang over the years so he good~
