On the latest episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' aired back on November 17, inactive singer Lee Jung made a public appearance for the first time in years!

On this day, Lee Jung greeted the MCs and fellow guests brightly, then also introduced himself to viewers who may not be familiar with him. He said, "Hello everyone, I am Lee Jung, and I used to sing."

Lee Jung then explained that during his lengthy hiatus, he moved to Jeju island, where he owns a small cafe. Furthermore, the singer stated that he had a confession that he would be making publicly for the first time ever. He revealed, "I met a good person while I was living in Jeju, and I am now married. We plan on holding our wedding ceremony in May of next year, but our marriage is already registered, and we are living together."

The singer continued his story of how he met his newlywed wife, "She is a native of Jeju island, and she makes candles for a living. I was introduced to her by her mother, whom I'd known for a while. She told me that she wanted to introduce me to her youngest daughter, and at first I thought she was joking. But then she actually brought her to the cafe. As soon as she came in, I fell in love at first sight. I'd heard of people talking about falling in love at first sight before, but then it happened to me. There was a glowing light behind her head." 

Meanwhile, Lee Jung debuted as a member of the vocal group 7Dayz in 2005. Afterward, he went on to debut as a solo singer. In 2016, he was charged of driving under the influence (DUI), and has been on hiatus until now.
