A new boy group has officially made their debut!

On September 27 KST, rookie boy group NIK released their debut album 'Santa Monica/Universe,' featuring title track "Santa Monica." NIK is an 11-member boy group consisting of Korean and Japanese members, produced by SUPERNOVA member Yoonhak and created through the 2020 audition program 'G-EGG.' The group's name stands for NEW (nothing that has existed before), Inspire (to put inspiration into people's hearts), and Kindle (to spark an emotional flame).

"Santa Monica" is a bright and exciting moombahton track with an addictive hook and melody that highlights the members' energy as well as talents in singing and rap. The song's message expresses the emotions of a young man in love, wanting to run off to a honeymoon-like utopia like Santa Monica with the object of his affection.
