The official 'Planet Master', or MC of the upcoming Mnet idol survival program 'Girls Planet 999', actor Yeo Jin Goo opened up about his personal experiences going through numerous auditions for acting roles during his youth. 

In light of its premiere later this August, Mnet's brand new idol survival show 'Girls Planet 999' introduced viewers to its 'Planet Master' in a short teaser film. In the video, Yeo Jin Goo described his role as a "bridge" between the 99 female trainees of the program and the 'Planet Guardians', or the mentors. He then shared, "I also went through many auditions ever since I was young. I failed a lot of them, and felt hurt because of those times. Back then, I questioned so many little, useless things about myself. I asked myself, 'Why is my skin dark?'. During puberty, I disliked my voice, and so I stopped speaking for a time."

Finally, Yeo Jin Goo expressed his wishes to become a source of strength and encouragement for the trainees of 'Girls Planet 999'.
