OnlyOneOf address controversy surrounding sexy choreography for 'libidO'

AKP STAFF

OnlyOneOf addressed the controversy surrounding their sexy choreography for "libidO".

After their comeback with "libidO" on this week's episode of Mnet's 'M! Countdown', OnlyOneOf faced criticism and controversy for their sexually explicit dance moves that allegedly went too far. In a recent interview, Love expressed, "I knew we'd get a different reaction than usual, but I'm surprised by how hot the reactions are."

He added, "We performed according to the concept of human instincts and urges, and because we transferred that to the stage, we've been getting a lot of attention. If you get to know our storytelling since debut, you'd be able to enjoy it in a more meaningful way than just finding it provocative."

Rie also expressed, "We used rope to stress the topic of the song. It's a prop that should trigger your imagination. I'm sure many fans were surprised, but you'll be able to enjoy an aesthetic that OnlyOneOf haven't shown before. There are many other points to focus on as well, so please look at the overall expressions we used in the song, not just particular scenes."

What do you think of OnlyOneOf's choreography for "libidO"?

They're doing noise marketing & it worked since they're in the news headlines. It's the same thing for their one member who had a hairstyle covering his eyes since debut, though I see they let him show his face for this comeback. I mean with so many debuts in Kpop nowadays, the industry is tough so their company must feel like any attention is an advantage, whether good or bad.

the industry is so saturated there is no way to be successful unless you try something out of the box, noise market and just bank on getting attention through that. kpop isn't what it used to be, 4th gen is so global and all over the place that there are so few groups with any mainstream recognition. even groups from huge renowned companies aren't as big as they used to be and are struggling to get that hit song circulating throughout korea to the point where average people on the street know their names. at least these guys are trying lmao. also the song is good and i love nine so i will support
