After deleting all their posts and pages last year making people believe the group had disbanded, girl group VIVA suddenly showed they were active again by uploading a performance of their debut single's b-side 'Love Love Love'.
The company has, however, confirmed the group never disbanded which could mean they were simply on hiatus. Which is not uncommon, especially for groups from small agencies. But they did not give an explanation for deleting VIVA's social media.
Some fans speculated management may have decided to give the group another shot, after member Lea was speculated to be TXT's Heuningkai's older sister (which was half confirmed by Shine E&M, VIVA's company) and got them some attention.
VIVA made their debut on the 13th of October, 2017, with the single 'Tough Girl' that included the three songs 'Tough Girl', 'Secret Paradise' and 'Love Love Love'.

I kinda feel bad for these girls, the company seems to be banking on this one detail to possibly blast them into popularity. But it honestly isn’t that shocking to me because its business and this is one way to market the group, could they have done a different way yes but what can you do 🤷🏼♀️
