On the February 10 broadcast of SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling', guest panelist Honey Lee talked about her close friendship with her college friend and unnie, Kim Tae Hee. 

Honey Lee revealed, "If it weren't for Tae Hee unnie, it would not have been easy for me to begin my career in entertainment. We were in a skiing club together in college, and one time, when everyone got together for a retreat, I really let myself go and went crazy. After seeing me like that, Tae Hee unnie said, 'I think someone like you should really go on TV'. And then, unnie also set up my first audition-like meeting with a director. She is like a lifesaver to me." 

MC Shin Dong Yup then asked who was more popular in college between Honey Lee and Kim Tae Hee, and Honey Lee replied with a smile, "There was no comparison." Shin Dong Yup jokingly added, "There was no comparison, it was definitely Honey Lee?" 

The model/actress played along with, "Definitely Honey Lee!... not. Tae Hee unnie was like Jesus in college. Her presence would gather everyone around her.. When she walked in, people would part like the Red Sea. But there were a few here and there who would try to get close. So then I acted like her bodyguard. I would go, 'Please don't touch', 'Please do not come any closer', and actually play that role."
