On the October 23 broadcast of MBC every1's 'Video Star', Shaun appeared as a guest and shared about his musical career, including working as a producer for various shows, concerts, etc.
Shaun explained that most of his production work deals with and directing music for concerts, as he's worked with artists like EXO, TVXQ, BTS, Red Velvet, f(x), and more. What special song did he gift EXO's Kai? Shaun replied, "I got to work with director Shin Jae Won for the '2018 Pyeongchang Olympics' closing ceremony, and while Kai danced and performed his choreography, I was there playing the piano."
The singer further added, "It was very cold there. But Kai's outfit during that stage was very thin. Which made me realize, 'Wow, it's no piece of cake being a celebrity...'. I was wearing long sleeves with layers underneath. I developed a lot of respect toward [Kai] after that."
