On December 3, solo artist Lucas graced the stage at the 'V1BE Manila' joint concert, which also acted as the Manila leg of Akon’s ‘The Superfan Tour,’ featuring local artists like Gloc-9, Ez Mil, and SB19’s Pablo, among others. This marks Lucas’ second visit to the Philippines following his ‘FIAT LUX’ solo concert in June.
The artist performed songs including “Renegade”, “Dip It Low”, “Crushing On You”, and “Bass Go Boom”. “You know, I [am] having a bad time, but [when] I see you guys, I got the energy,” he said during his talk segment. “I really want to show you the real Lucas.”
Apart from Lucas, hip-hope acts Akon, Ez Mil, Pablo, Chocolate Factory, and Legit Misfitz also lit up the stage at the SM Mall of Asia Arena with their hits.
The concert kicked off with high-energy performances from Pablo with songs including “Neumun” and “Micha”. Ez Mil followed with his original singles “Freeze”, “Idk”, and “Up Down”. While Gloc-9 performed his signature hits like “Simpleng Tao” and “Sirena”. Finally, Akon took over the stage with his fiery performances of “Dangerous”, “I Wanna Love You”, and “Smack That”, among others.
What’s next for the L-Squared group after the successful run of “V1BE Manila”? “We’re definitely cooking up bigger events for 2025 in addition to expanding to hold events across the country,” CEO Marco Llado shared. “But first things first – our team will celebrate our wins for 2024. We really worked hard this year so it is just right to appreciate and give thanks to our passionate and hardworking team,” he added.
